2023 Lexus RZ
The Lexus RZ is all new for 2023, serving as the brand’s
first-ever battery electric vehicle. Lexus RZ is a compact
electric crossover that seats 5 people and is only offered
as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Toyota bz4x,
Subaru Solterra, BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron, and Genesis
GV60.
Two trims will be offered: RZ450e and RZ450 F Sport. One
drivetrain is available: A 65.6-kWh battery pack that powers
two electric motors and produces 308 horsepower. Only
all-wheel-drive models are offered. Range is estimated to be
around 225 miles on a full charge.
The RZ Series aims to join the luxury electric crossover
segment, after entering the market in multiple variations of
the same platform, such as the Subaru Solterra and Toyota
bz4x. Pricing ranges from $55,000 to $60,000.
