2023 Dodge Hornet

The Dodge Hornet is all new for 2023, effectively riding

a platform originally designed for the Alfa Romeo Tonale.
Hornet is a compact crossover that seats 5 and is only
available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Kia
Seltos, Mazda CX-30, VW Taos, Chevy Trailblazer, Jeep
Compass, and Hyundai Kona. A hybrid model is offered.

Five trims are offered: SXT, GT, R/T, GT Plus, Citadel. Two
drivetrains are available: A turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder
that produces 265 horsepower and pairs to a 9-speed automatic
transmission, and a turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder aided by an
electric motor that produces 285
horsepower. The hybrid pairs
to a six-speed automatic
transmission. Front-wheel
drive is standard with
all-wheel drive being
optional. Pricing
ranges from $30,000
to $40,000.
