2026 Kia Sportage:
The 2026 Kia Sportage is a 5-passenger, 4-door wagon that competes in the
highly popular compact crossover class. It faces competition from the Chevrolet
Equinox, Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Mazda CX-50,
Nissan Rogue, Subaru Forester, Toyota RAV4 and Volkswagen
Tiguan. For 2026, Sportage gets a mid-cycle refresh that
includes new front and rear styling, dual 12.3-inch dashboard
displays, an available head-up display, and a Terrain mode for
all-wheel drive trims.

The 2026 Kia Sportage offers several trim levels: LX, EX, SX, SX-
Prestige, S (new), X-Line (new), and X-Pro Prestige (new). The
standard engine is a 2.5-liter inline-four producing 187 horsepower.
The hybrid version features a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine paired
with an electric motor for a combined output of 231 horsepower. The
plug-in hybrid offers a 72-kW electric motor and a combined output of
268 horsepower. All AWD versions come with standard Terrain modes
for snow, mud, and sand.

Pricing for the 2026 Kia Sportage is not yet available but is expected to start
abour $28,000 for the base LX trim. Safety features include Forward Collision
Avoidance Assist, Parking Distance Warning, and Highway Driving Assist 2.
Optional equipment includes LED fog lights, all-terrain tires, and surround-view
cameras.
