2019 HYUNDAI KONA SPECS

Hyundai has been swinging for the fences with their lineup in recent years, and those swings have been connecting. The latest Subcompact SUV
shot sent over the fence is their Kona, which just scored a win as the 2019 Utility Vehicle of the Year. That’s no easy feat when you’re DRIVETRAIN
competing against 20 other worthy adversaries. Hyundai has done a great job of combining visually appealing exterior & interior
styling with well-mannered performance and technology. There are four trim levels to choose from on the Kona: SE and SEL models 2.0-liter Inline 4-cyl,
featuring a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder making 147 horsepower mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, plus the Limited and 147-HP / 1.6-liter Turbo
Ultimate trims, which sport a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder producing 175 horsepower. The latter variants come with Inline 4-cyl, 175-HP
a 7-speed EcoShift dual clutch transmission, adding a bit more pizzazz to the driving experience. Front-wheel drive is standard, 6-speed Automatic with
but all-wheel drive is available on all trims. On the inside the technology is engaging, with a Shiftronic / 7-speed
7-inch touchscreen infotainment system standard on SE, SEL, and Limited versions, EcoShift Dual Clutch
while the Ultimate model offers an 8-inch setup. Apple CarPlay and Android FUEL ECONOMY
Auto are standard across the line, and the Ultimate features a heads-up 27 City / 33 Hwy
display. Perhaps the most exciting news about the Kona lineup is BASE PRICE
the EV variant, which boasts a 201-hp permanent-magnet
synchronous AC motor that delivers an impressive $19,990
range of 258 miles. That’s the furthest of any non-Tesla
electric car on the market.

2020 JEEP GLADIATOR SPECS
It’s been a while since Jeep went to market with a pickup. In fact, the last Jeep pickup available was the 1992 Comanche. For TYPE
2020, Jeep is pulling out all the stops, taking on the midsize pickup segment with the all-new Gladiator. It’s the world’s only Midsize Pickup
open-air pickup and it boasts class-leading towing (7,650 lbs.) and payload capacity. It’s powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 which delivers DRIVETRAIN
285-hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, and it’s mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional eight-speed automatic. 3.6-liter V-6, 285-HP
A V-6 diesel in on the horizon, which pumps out 260-hp and a brawny 442 lb-ft of torque. Unlike Jeep’s pickups of yesteryear, 6-Speed Manual
the Gladiator offers a host of creature comforts, including an available 8.4- Transmission (8-speed
