2021 KIA SORENTO
The all-new Kia Sorento brings bold styling and a variety
of powertrain options to the midsize SUV segment,
covering nearly every possible need buyers could
have. For buyers prioritizing power, the Sorento has an
available 2.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces
311 lb-ft of torque. Buyers desiring more efficiency can
opt for the hybrid model that gets up to 39 mpg in city
driving or the upcoming plug-in hybrid model that can travel up to 30 miles as an EV yet still
makes an estimated 261 combined horsepower. The Sorento is also more capable off-road,
with an available X-line trim that adds an additional inch of ground clearance (for a total
of 8.3 inches), and an advanced torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system with a locking
center differential. Because buyers expect the latest technology whether they’re on the
road or far from the pavement, the Sorento comes with an available 10.25-inch touchscreen
infotainment system as well as an available 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display. To
keep its occupants as safe as possible, the all-new Sorento comes standard with such
safety features as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Departure Warning with Lane
Keeping Assist, and Lane Following Assist.
