2022 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR









         	   The	 Lincoln	 Navigator	 gets	 a	 styling	 refresh	 inside
         and	out	for	2022,	including	a	new	grille,	headlights,	and
         taillights.	It	also	gets	ActiveGlide	driving-assist,	which	is
         Ford’s	version	of	a	hands-free,	semi-autonomous	driving
         system.	The	Navigator	is	a	full-size,	three-row	luxury	SUV
         that	seats	7	passengers.	Competitors	include	the	Cadillac
         Escalade,	Mercedes-Benz	GLS,	and	Lexus	LX600.	A	long-
         wheelbase	variant	is	also	available.
         	   Three	trims	are	offered:	Standard,	Reserve,	and	Black
         Label.	One	engine	is	available:	A	turbocharged	3.5-liter	V6	that	makes	450	horsepower	and
         mates	to	a	10-speed	automatic	transmission.	Rear-wheel-drive	is	standard	with	all-wheel-drive
         being	optional.	Maximum	towing	capacity	is	rated	at	8,300	pounds.
         	   Lincoln	is	touting	Ford’s	semi-autonomous	driving	system,	dubbed	ActiveGlide	(BlueCruise
         in	Ford	vehicles)	on	the	Navigator.	Like	GM’s	SuperCruise,	it	offers	hands-free	driving	in	certain
         conditions	on	more	than	100,000	miles	of	divided	highways	across	the	U.S.	and	Canada.	The
         system	monitors	the	driver’s	attention	level	and	prompts	drivers	to	pay	attention	or	take	over
         if	necessary.	Pricing	ranges	from	$77,000	to	$100,000.
