2023 NISSAN Z
The all-new Nissan Z is expected to go on sale
in early 2022 as a 2023 model year. The Z is a low-
slung sports car that seats 2 passengers and is only offered
as a 2-door coupe. Competitors include the Toyota Supra, Porsche 917, Ford
Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Mazda MX-5 Miata.
Two trims are offered: Sport and Performance. A special Proto Spec Edition will be offered
at launch, but will be limited to only 240 units. The iconic sports car will be powered a twin-
turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and
350 pound-feet of torque. It will pair to a 6-speed manual
transmission as standard, but a 9-speed automatic
transmission with launch control and paddle
shifters will also be offered.
The seventh-generation Z sports car will
start at around $40,000 once it goes on sale
in early 2022.
